THE BEST IS YET TO COME

THE BEST IS YET TO COME

No matter what has happened or is happening, as long as you firmly believe, that the best is yet to come, then you will keep going. If you have any doubts about the future, you will not survive. Even if life is good now, you should never go easy on yourself. Otherwise, your energy will be drained as soon as you feel that you're not faced with challenges. In order to recharge your mind and body you need to revive your energy by focusing on your own self-confidence. You must get rid of this 'undeserving' feeling. You need to recognize your strengths and positives. Then you will feel able to become unrestrained and go for the jugular, whatever the odds.

You deserve it, whatever it is. That's a great feeling. You now have something to look forward to and you can't possibly go wrong. It may be a job, a romance, a home or a car. Perhaps an illustrated thermometer on the wall, which measures your progress towards achieving your specific goals, helps. Discipline yourself to keep on track. As circumstances change, don't hesitate to review your goals regularly, but always keep moving.

Low self-esteem is a killer. That would make life really hard. That affects your interaction with people and enjoy the things you like. Life is sometimes very tough with relationships breaking down and career paths interrupted. That comes with the territory. Climbing up the different ladders in life is a constant challenge, which should be seen as a sport. Good times never last, but as long as you remain excited about 'the best is yet to come', you will jump out of bed in the morning and put more work into your hours than anyone else.

Stress is a - silent -  killer too. But if you don't get stuck in the past and if you have many tasks in your to-do list, then you don't have time to even think of any ailments and complaints. Don't let your emotions overtake you. Go play with your pet and simply let it pass. Always think of the possible sensation of whatever the best is, that is yet to come!

RELENTLESS

RELENTLESS

Attributed to the 30th President of the United States, CALVIN COOLIDGE (1923 - 1929):

Nothing in this world can take the place of PERSISTENCE. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not: unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

President Calvin Coolidge succeeded, as Vice President, his predecessor President Warren G. Harding, who died unexpectedly while in office. He went on to win the next election and therefore served as President for 6 years. He was famous for being a man of few words ('silent Cal'), but during his Presidency ('the Roaring Twenties'),  America experienced impressive economic growth, albeit mostly debt-driven. This would eventually lead to the Great Economic Depression of the 1930's. But Coolidge will always be remembered for his no-nonsense approach, his honesty and his integrity.

Being relentless and unstoppable, rather than being casual and easy-going, will deliver the results needed to become successful. As long as you are driven by reaching specific objectives, you have become a goal-oriented type, rather than a person on autopilot. There is always the temptation to relax, but as soon as you realize, that it is a race against time, then you will press ahead and get the job done. Because otherwise, you're done!

If you are really, really determined, keep trying and never give up, you can be annoying. But some things are inevitable. It is what it is. You may even be accused of being narcissistic: a deep need for excessive attention and admiration. There is always a price to pay if you stand out from the crowd. That's why you have to be relentless and fearless. Mind you, your working life is too short to worry about the fallout, while realizing your dreams.

You are your worst enemy, because it's so easy to be distracted.  Excuses abound in tough times! Become like Coolidge, a man of few words and a lot of action. Trust your instincts. Bite the bullet, otherwise you will bite the dust.

DREAM BIG

DREAM BIG

You need to look at life with the perspective, that nothing is impossible. Nothing at all. That's why big dreams are so important. With the right mindset, you should be on your way. Never mind the odds. Life consists of one miracle after another, believe it or not. You have to admit, that you've been lucky many times before. The bigger your dream, the luckier you get. Once you've accomplished just a fraction of what you were dreaming about, your motivation will know no bounds.

If your dreams don't scare you, they are not big enough. You were born with a mission. It's up to each individual to figure out the best way, how to fulfill that mission. Everybody's mission is unique. All that is needed to discover that mission is by listening to what excites you. This is it! This is me! Your enthusiasm will automatically deal with any doubts or fears. This is what living your life is all about. Pursuing your goal in life will give you the feeling, that life has deep meaning and then happiness is all yours. You deserve it!

Sometimes your dreams may not seem realistic. Don't ever worry about that. You don't have to be brilliant to achieve extraordinary success. Persistence and focus are the only requirements, not education or intelligence. Just go for it! You'll be surprised how talented you really are. You'll find out how little of your potential had really been crystal clear so far. You're an undiscovered gold mine!

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE

Do you feel overwhelmed? Do you feel that life is passing you by? Don't you feel any longer that the best is still to come? It's never too late to start a new beginning! You can't change the past, but you can change yourself as a result of the past. You can become pro-active, for a change, instead of reactive. That means you may be able to react ahead of time. You will then be able to adapt to the constant ups and downs, instead of being surprised by them. You cannot predict everything, but as long as you keep moving, you are ahead of the game. Stay paranoid and trust no one. Otherwise, the game is up. Guaranteed.

Can you really create the outcome that you want? You've already done that in your life countless times! The reality is, that you had your heart set on accomplishing something, like a specific task or a certain relationship, and you just did it. Often against the odds! It's all about focusing on realizing your vision. With enough drive and passion, you went for it. The energy you needed, took care of itself. That's why some people manage to work 24/7 for awhile till it's done.

Never get stuck in the mud. That's what reality often is. But reality is often not what it seems. Anyway, it's the potential reality of your dreams that counts. Just imagine, how different things could become. You'll be feeling more energetic already about moving forward, by ignoring all the mud out there. Your life is as exciting as you want it to be. Nothing can hold you back if you feel and imagine, that you're already there, where you want to be. You're entitled to it! Remember, that all excuses for delaying action, should be dealt with immediately. Your goal in life should be achieving something that is 'meant to be'.

Top athletes fail to live up to their potential 90% of the time. The secret of success is, that there is no success without failure. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to learn from your mistakes. Look at it as a chance to take stock and to create a new plan. Above all, forgive yourself! The genius within you remains alive and well. You'll receive your prize at the appropriate time. Your time will come.

LIVING WITH YOURSELF

LIVING WITH YOURSELF

The only way of living with yourself and all your imperfections is by focusing on what you can control. Only then are you likely to reduce stress. Focusing exclusively on the intended results of your actions, which are often out of your control, could make you less productive. You could actually 'win' more with a job well done. Performing a process properly, whatever the outcome, prevents the stressful impact on your mind of things beyond your control. As long as you are the master of your own ship, you will be able to live with yourself.

The odds of the intended results actually happening increase, if you feel that you remain in control. Improbable does not mean impossible. Improbable things happen all the time. But if you feel you are on firm ground ('your competence') rather than on quicksand ('uncontrollable way of life'), your self-confidence will continue to grow and you are much more likely to win.

Living with yourself becomes a challenge, when you are not free from your past. Everything you have done and said, which you may now regret, should be left behind. Intend to start every day with a clean slate. Remember mostly, what you once did and said right. You have been a genius for some of the time and that is all that counts.

The center of your attention should, however, always be on where you want to be. The future may not be yours to control, but it will take care of itself, as long as you practice constant visualization ('the process') of what it should be like. Then you will attract the kind of life you deserve with less stress.

RISE ABOVE THAT

RISE ABOVE THAT

You should do your best to rise above something unpleasant. But aren't you then 'in denial'? Partially yes. But it'll give you a chance to see the forest from the trees. It also prevents you from getting mired in something, that could get hard to get out of. Focus instead on positive alternatives and keep your head high, no matter what happens. Don't give in to 'reality'. No storm lasts forever. This too shall pass.

Be good enough not to do what most other people seem to be doing. The 'herd' instinct is part of human nature, but be aware, that being part of that, often clouds your judgment. You actually may lose your ability to be successful, because a group has a mind of its own. You may regret being part of a group later, but the group may not let you go quietly. So if you end up in such a situation, rise quietly above the prejudices of that group and get the hell out.

In some societies, the group is everything and the individual is nothing. This dilemma is very difficult to deal with. It's human nature to try and survive at all costs. If you stand out, you're dangerously exposed. You could be considered a threat to the cohesion of that society and then you are at risk. Remember however, that personal freedom is the highest good, more so, than getting enough to eat. Conformity is a necessary evil at times, it's unnatural, a stop-gap measure, a short-term 'fix', until something better can be obtained. You should rise above this nuisance. Dream therefore of your True Self and magic will happen.

YOUR AMAZING TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN

YOUR AMAZING TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN

Awesome! Reaching your top of the mountain is an incredible victory. The harder the battle, the sweeter it is. It's the fulfillment of a long-held dream. It could be the love of your life or your long cherished goal. Success may come early or it could take a lifetime. No matter. Some people even miraculously come back out of a coma and have experienced the bright light of the afterlife. Catching a glimpse of heaven is that top of the mountain for some.

The highest point of a mountain is called the peak. A mountain climber may never necessarily reach the peak, but rather the highest area a person can reach, which is called the summit. Take stock of where you're currently at. As soon as you realize where you are, you are ready to start moving up and then keep moving. Don't let up! The man on top of a mountain, didn't fall there.

Getting to the top isn't the ultimate goal. It's only the first step to achieving life's destiny. It brings a sense of accomplishment. It's an exhilarating experience, which makes you very happy and excited for the rest of your life. You are now truly in a position to exclaim to yourself: 'I did it! I really did it!'. The need to prove to yourself of being capable of doing it, will then finally be satisfied. You should be proud.
