Even winning the lottery requires work too. You have to buy that ticket, even though your chances are extremely low. Luck isn't real and mostly a myth. But if you work harder, you're in a better position, when the opportunity arrives. Better things come your way, if you complete more milestones, making you lucky. The harder you work, the less dependent you become on luck.



Remember, you always reap, what you have sown. Getting lucky or unlucky in life, is unlikely to come out of the blue. Whatever is meant to be, plays a big role. You may have been born luckier than some and unluckier than others. But it is up to you to make the best of the hand you have been dealt. It's all about, how you play your hand. If your hand is great, so be it. If your hand is unfortunate, so be it also. No matter how unfair you think your hand is, you have no option to give your hand back. Whatever hand you're dealt, you must play. But in life, you'll be able to pick new cards. Those new cards may even replace your original hand. That's why some people succeed against the odds.

There are plenty of opportunities coming your way. Don't hesitate to grab them. Nothing is more expensive, than a missed opportunity. There is opportunity in any difficulty. Hold on tight and don't let it go. Persistence is all that counts. That's 'par for the course', if you really believe in something. Are you already playing to win?

ALL WE HAVE IS OUR OWN MIND

You don't control the course of events. But you do control your opinion about these events. That can be very powerful. But make no mistake. Before you make your move, consider the possible consequences. You don't want to find yourself in 'hot water'. Being in trouble can be avoided, if you think before you speak. Words without thought may make the situation worse, especially for yourself. Better spend some time quietly with your own thoughts. 'Just thinking' could be an incredibly important part of your life. It could increase your life satisfaction, because you give your mind a chance to pause and refresh. Only then, you'll be able to get things done.

Just give your brain a break. You may tend to overdo things and to become impatient, due to societal pressures. Your brain may be overworked. Therefore, it needs a rest, now and then. You would improve your mood and boost your performance. You would become more creative. You also would keep 'burnout' at bay. The processing of information can be very stressful for your brain. Try to do something, that is considered a 'mindless' task, like cleaning or doing the laundry. Get into the regular habit of wandering through some pleasant memories for a few minutes a day. Listen to the birds! Over time, your daydreaming could be very important. You could have a moment of triumphant discovery, an 'Eureka' moment. Guess what: your mind will thank you later.

Take a deep breath. Repeat this. Your cluttered mind is now getting a break. All you need is a reset. Are you refreshed yet? There is nothing wrong with talking to yourself as if you were your own best friend. You may want to think about a pleasant experience of bygone days. Positive memories are great for your wellbeing and can keep you going, forever. Singing and dancing can really put you on another level. Your mind would have a ball!

Making gratitude a regular part of your daily routine, reduces stress. There is a lot in life to be thankful for. Positive thinking is essential. You have to think the best is going to happen, not the worst. You may have to start with some self-talk in order to ban negative thoughts, that run through your head. Only an optimist can get things done. You'll be able to better cope with all the things, that life throws at you. You'll take them and be grateful for them as well. You may be up against a giant. But your inner power is much bigger, than you ever imagined.

Optimistic people tend to live healthier life styles. Smile and laugh often, especially during difficult times. Surround yourself with the right people, who support you. Helpful advice and feedback improve your outlook in life. Always say, that you can try to make it work or that you'll give it another try. Take chances. If something seems complicated, there's always a way around it. It's all about your state of mind. But it requires constant practice.

If you're in a good mood, you may have more motivation to focus on creating positive effects in your life. If you're upset again and again, you'll be driving people away. You'll find yourself isolated. There are many ways to take your mind off stressful things. Turn off the news, for one thing! Most news is depressing, because it sells. Some people in the news are being asked to put on an act, otherwise nobody will pay attention. There is also a lot of scaremongering going on, because people hate to be threatened by perceived dangers, so they listen or watch.

Remember to add healthy pleasures in your life regularly. Life doesn't have to be boring!  It's a great way to reduce your anxiety levels. You should have nothing in the world to worry about. That tends to happen, when you exercise or focus on your favourite hobbies. Try to improve your belief in your own capacity. The most important thing is, that you believe in yourself. You have talents, you never dreamed of. As soon as you realize, that you should be grateful for those, magic may happen. You'd be jumping for joy!

So what can you do, if you feel dissatisfied with life? But there are also things going right, right? Don't take those for granted. Focus on them. Are you still breathing? That's extraordinary. You should be incredibly thankful for that. Can you eat something? Wow. Life without food would be a problem. Do you have enough water to drink? Lucky you! Do you sleep in a comfortable bed? That must feel good! Do you have a roof over your head? Just imagine, if you didn't. Are you loved or have you been loved? That's the greatest blessing in life. What about your love or lovers of a bygone era? Wouldn't you want to live your carefree youth all over again? Put those memories 'in the bank'! Do you have freedom of choice, instead of fighting for survival? Well then life isn't so bad after all!

What does your dream life look like? If you can answer this question, you've just started to create that life. That's a very exciting, life-changing moment. Nothing will stop you now. You may have an all-nighter in front of you. A period of 24/7. Are you up to it? Just do it. You'll be surprised by all your extra energy, that is coming from nowhere. MINDSET IS EVERYTHING

Your thoughts and your feelings determine the action you take. Having a positive mindset helps to achieve your goals. Just put one foot in front of the other and you'll find, that you will be moving forward in a meaningful way. Get used to the everyday routine. Don't count on miracles. Shortcuts are rare. But getting the hang of jumping several hurdles at a time, is a dream, that can be part of your mindset. Why not!

Your mindset is your most powerful weapon. Visualization breaks down barriers. Your mind could already be there, where you would like to be. 50% of the job has then been done! Nothing will stop you now. You feel, that you can do the impossible. That's because you may suddenly realize, that you finally are using more than 10% of your resources. Your subconsious is now hard at work for you. You'll become an overachiever! Discover the giant within you. That's how magic can happen.

Success doesn't bring happiness, but it helps. Happiness often takes a lifetime to achieve. Most people remain unhappy, because life is not perfect. Perfection is a rare luxury. It may not occur, until life is over. Some people, who came back to life, have revealed, that they experienced a sense of peace and bright lights in that 'afterlife'. They had the most glorious feeling they've ever had and they didn't want to return. But when there is unfinished business in your real life, you're not allowed to stay in the 'afterlife' for long.

Success may also mean pushing aside your priorities. Are you feeling bitter? Therefore, you should aim for greater self-confidence and self-esteem, once you are successful. Otherwise, you'll feel unfulfilled. Hard-fought success has to be worth it!

Sometimes it's better to accept things as they are. You can always make your move later. It's O.K. to be indifferent to things that you're not passionate about at this time. Your feeling for or against may not matter anyway, especially if you're up against powerful forces behind the scenes. There are many things, that seem important, but really aren't, within the grand scheme of things. Always put things in perspective, taking everything into account. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill!

We all have a role to play in life. That role may be different from what you have been led to believe. That's why you carefully need to take stock whether you are on the right path. Give yourself a break in order to set your priorities. Making some hard choices could be next. Get ready to make some sacrifices, while maintaining your balance and keeping your cool. Always remember, that you shouldn't do or say something, that you may regret later. Think before you act!

Plotting your next step? Goal setting is part of the process. That is the way to challenge yourself. Consider, what sort of life you want to lead in the long run. You want to be pleasantly surprised, don't you? Think about, what brings you the most joy in life with your unique skills. Don't try to fit a square peg into a round hole! If you find your specific niche in life, then you'll become comfortable, while keeping your cool.

You're blessed with the capacity to improve your circumstances. You're lucky. You should be delighted. You should appreciate, that you are able to do, whatever it takes, to leave your past behind. Where there is a will, there's a way! Especially when you sometimes lose your way. That's human. But your commitment to find your will and the way, not tomorrow, but today, is already part of you. You just have to turn on a switch. Go find that switch! 

How do we get from here to there? How do you find your will and the way? It's called commitment. Committing yourself to a specific course of action. Put your finger in the air and find out, where the wind is coming from. But crowd behaviour and herd mentality are often a recipe for disaster over time. So you may want to focus on doing the opposite. Most people would be very uncomfortable with that strategy. However, the lone contrarian is often able to achieve extraordinary success, provided patience is being seen as a virtue. The slow and steady turtle can win the race from the hare. 

How do you resist the temptation to do something, that is unwise? You would like to do it, wouldn't you? But you're blessed with the capacity to put a stop to that. It's called control. You have the power to be in control, despite all the pressures. If you can't control yourself, put yourself on a lead! Make your mind empty of tempting thoughts. Rest your head on a thick pillow and away you go!

STAY FOCUSED ON WHAT HASN'T HAPPENED YET, AS LONG AS IT'S GOOD

Focusing on your present situation may sound attractive, but may be very boring or even downright unpleasant with regard to everything that you hope lies ahead. Fill your mind with all the good things, that might still happen. Ask yourself, what you are waiting for. Make the good things happen soon! If not now, when?

Putting one foot in front of the other, without constantly thinking, what your future should look like, is like crossing mudflats in your slippers. You could be stuck in the mud. Wouldn't you like to be a winner? Being a loser has consequences. That's why you should be on your toes and feel somewhat paranoid. As long as you are able to control anxious thought, you can turn it to your advantage. Complacency is the enemy of excellence!

You can be a force for good in the world as long as you will rise and shine. Try and find out, what your destiny is. What are you made for? You've been born for a reason! You've got a job to do. You can't just shut your eyes and go back to sleep.

Visualization shapes your future. Focus on your future, that you think is meant to be. If the current reality is very different from what you've been dreaming about, then you have to take action. Nobody else will do that for you. It's up to you to start the ball rolling with another reality. An alternative reality, if you will. Go to sleep with that alternative reality in mind. Your subconscious mind will then take over and will work on it. All through the night!

SO YOU WANT TO GET RICH 

Do you really want to get rich? Do you really have, what it takes to become hugely successful? Anybody can do it with the right art of living. Never fear failure. Failure is part of life. But failure is not an option, so you have to get up and try again, time after time. Sometimes 24/7! Mind you, with the right carrot,  you'll have enough energy to keep going. Always focus on where you should be going. Always pretend that you're already there. Keep dreaming of your destination. Dreams shape your future. If your dreams don't scare you, they are not big enough. Chase your dreams as if your life depends on it. Never give up!

Always smile. It puts people at ease. It's a sign of success. Don't sweat. Only a positive attitude can lead to success. You will make a way, even where there seems to be no way, because you know, where you're going. You believe in yourself. There's nobody like you in the whole world. You are unique. Amazing isn't it?

Money, money, money. Don't flaunt it. Keep a low profile at all times. But get rid of the shame of getting and being very rich. You get, what you deserve. Don't blame anyone, but yourself, if you're not rich yet. Money is the best revenge. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. But never talk about money, especially your own money. Keep people guessing. It's nobody's business, but your own and the taxman. Being 'legit' gives peace of mind. That's the most important thing in your life, because you don't know, how long you've got. Your conscience should be clean, before you ever bow out gracefully.
